Registration is now closed

Online registration has now been closed. If you somehow managed to miss online registration, the event is not completely full. You may be able to beg or bribe your way into the event last minute but no promises.

For those of you who have had to withdraw, we’re sorry that you won’t be with us. Those of you who did so early enough to get a refund will be getting it shortly. Since most of you registered right at the beginning of registration (90ish days ago), the quick and easy refunds through PayPal to your method of payment are no longer available. So there’s a bit more process involved in the refunds. Their coming, just more slowly than we’d like. If you have questions about a pending refund you can contact

Traffic Conditions

This page is also available under the Travel and Housing menu.

Traffic conditions in Vancouver can change in an instant and vary considerably, especially during rush hours. Players should leave well in advance of their tee times to ensure an on time arrival. AM 730 is a 24 hour traffic station that will warn you of current traffic back ups and “hot spots.” You can also check the links below for current traffic conditions.

Course Maps Added

Note that course maps have been added to the Courses web page. All courses will be playable in the tournament layout as of Monday, June 15, except for Queen Elizabeth’s north side. Please do not play the north side until the temporary holes are placed on June 18.

Schedule modifications

Note that there are some slight changes to the schedule, although the pools remain the same. B pool will only play 18 holes on Grouse on Friday (due to expected hot weather). C-Pool will now have Tee Times for Sunday, rather than a shotgun start (tee times will be posted Saturday night by 6:00PM). Note that all tee time announcement will be on the PDGA website.

Schedule for tee time announcements:

B pool: Draft schedule posted by 9:00PM Tuesday night. Final schedule will be up by 6:00PM Thursday.

A pool: Posted by 9:00PM Friday night (to allow for appropriate groupings based on Friday’s results).

C pool: Posted by 6:00 PM Saturday night  (to allow for appropriate groupings based on Saturday’s results).

Grouse Mountain Gondola

Working together, Grouse Mountain and the Canadian Nationals have agreed to provide “day of” access passes to Grouse Mountain for all registered players who do not have a seasons pass for the gondola.
The pass will only be distributed at the Players Registration on Thursday at Queen Elizabeth Park.

As there is a financial cost to the tournament to provide players with free access to the mountain. As a result, players with a seasons pass are asked to use their passes to access the mountain instead of the tournament pass.
